About The Author Sandra Rains DeBusk is the author of eleven books and she has won multiple honorable mention awards for her poetry. Sandra dropped out of school when she was 16 years old, to help her parents at home when they became disabled. Later in life, she attended Thompson Direct university and succeeded in obtaining her high school diploma. With that in hand, she then enrolled again, and studied pharmacy and criminal law. Sandra is a loving mother to her three children, and mamaw to her three grandchildren, and the proud wife of a veteran marine. Sandra is an avid reader and has always enjoyed writing, even as a child. She loves to use her imagination and please the readers with something that sticks in their minds for a long time.
