He is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologists and has received numerous awards and honors including the 2002 OPTIME Award - The best veterinary student career and best thesis of the year (in Piedmont region, Italy), 2002. He has also been published with various articles in JAVMA.
