Objectives: Asomatognosia is broadly defined as unawareness of ownership of one's arm, while somatoparaphrenia is a subtype in which patients also display ...跳至主導覽跳至搜尋跳過主要內容TheneuroanatomyofasomatognosiaandsomatoparaphreniaToddE.Feinberg,AnnalenaVenneri,AnnaMariaSimone,YanFan,GeorgNorthoff研究成果:雜誌貢獻›文章›同行評審122引文斯高帕斯(Scopus)總覽指紋摘要Objectives:Asomatognosiaisbroadlydefinedasunawarenessofownershipofone'sarm,whilesomatoparaphreniaisasubtypeinwhichpatientsalsodisplaydelusionalmisidentificationandconfabulation.Studiesdifferwithregardtotheunderlyingneuroanatomyofthesesyndromes.Methods:Threegroupsofpatientswithright-hemispherestrokesandlefthemiplegiawereanalysed:G1,asomatognosia+neglect;G2,non-asomatognosia+neglect;G3,hemiplegiaonly.Theasomatognosicgroupwasfurthersubdividedintosomatoparaphrenia(G1-SP:asomatognosia+delusions/confabulation)andsimpleasomatognosia(G1-SA;asomatognosiawithoutdelusions/confabulation).Results:Patientswithallformsofasomatognosia(G1)hadlargerlesionsthannon-asomatognosicpatientsinallsectors.Whilepatientswithorwithoutasomatognosiahadsignificanttemporoparietalinvolvement,wefoundthatthesubsetofpatientswithsomatoparaphreniahadthelargestlesionsoverall,andsomatoparaphreniacaseshadsignificantlymorefrontalinvolvementthanpatientswithsimpleasomatognosia.Allpatientswithasomotognosia(G1-SPandG1-SA)hadsignificantmedialfrontaldamage,suggestingthatthisregionmayplayaroleinthedevelopmentofasomatognosiaingeneral.Somatoparaphreniacasesalsohadgreaterorbitofrontaldamagethansimpleasomatognosiacases,suggestingthattheorbitofrontallesionwascriticalinthedevelopmentofsomatoparaphrenia.Conclusions:Asomatognosiaresultsfromlargelesionsinvolvingmultipledincludingtemporoparietaldsectors,buttheadditionofmedialfrontalinvolvementappearsimportant.Theadditionoforbitofrontaldysfunctiondistinguishessomatoparaphreniafromsimpleasomatognosia.Thedataindicaterolesfortherightmedialandorbitofrontalregionsinconfabulationandself-relatedsystems.原文英語頁(從-到)276-281頁數6期刊JournalofNeurology,NeurosurgeryandPs
