The cat is the only natural host of the pathogen of this disease and the source of infection.HygieneEducationHealthEducationHomeHygieneEducationCat-scratchDisease貓抓病(英文)HygieneEducationHealthEducationCat-scratchDisease貓抓病(英文)文章分享Home分享至FaceBook分享至LineQrcode列印下載A-A+Cat-scratchDisease貓抓病(英文)2021/3/24Cat-scratchdiseaseisaworldwideepidemic,firstidentifiedin1889.Thecatistheonlynaturalhostofthepathogenofthisdiseaseandthesourceofinfection.Thisdiseaseiscausedbypeoplebeingscratchedbythecatorinfectedbyitsfeces,whichischaracterizedbylocalchroniclymphnodeenlargement.Whenpeopleareinfected,thesymptomsarelocallymphnodeinflammation,swelling,pain,purulence,increasedbodytemperature,rashonthelimbs,andsometimesevenmeningitis.Serioussystemicdiseasecanoccurin3%ofpatients.Mostcasesarebenignandself-limiting,andusuallyresolvewithin2to4months.EtiologyBartonellahenselaeisthemainpathogenofcatscratchdisease.ItisaGram-negativeCampylobacter.ItissmallandbelongstotheBartonellafamilyofRickettsia.ModesofTransmissionThemainsourceofinfectioniscats,especiallykittensandnewlyadoptedcats,aswellasdogs,monkeysandrabbits.Therearenoreportsofhuman-to-humantransmission.Catswithpathogensdon'tgetsick.Morethan90%ofthepatientshavecontactwithcatsordogs,and75%havebeenscratchedorbittenbytheanimals.Themodeoftransmissionisdirectcontactwithpathogens,50%ofwhichcanbecausedbyvariousinjuries,resultingininfection,and25%ofwhichhavenoobviousskindamage.IncubationPeriodTheincubationperiodofcatscratchdiseaseis3to10days.ClinicalManifestationsTheclinicalmanifestationsofthediseasearediverse,withmildcasesmakingupalargeproportion.Primaryskinlesions:3to10daysaftercat'sscratchandbite,onetoseveralerythematouspapulesappearlocally,withnosignificantpain.Afewpapulesturntoblistersorpustules,occasionallybreakthroughtoformsmallulcers.After1-3weeks,theyleaveashortperiodofpigmentationorscabandheal.Skinlesionsaremorecommoninthehands,forearms,feet,legs,face,eyesandotherplaces,butc
