主要發生的原因為小孩的手臂突然受到拉扯或牽引的力量,橈骨頭從環狀韌帶中滑脫造成的半脫位,如抓著小孩的手玩搖擺的遊戲、抓著小孩的手把小孩拉起來、為了防止小孩跌倒而抓住小孩的手、小孩跑來跑去時爸媽突然拉手試圖阻止他過度運動等。

也可能由一些不適當的動作造成,像是穿脫衣服或外套時角度不對、自己亂揮手臂等。

 發生年齡通常是兒童開始學會走路之後,多數介於1~5歲間,平均年齡2.5歲,但也有小於6個月嬰兒的病例報告。

研究顯示左手臂發生的機率比較高,且女生發生的機會稍微高於男生一些。

常見的症狀是小孩有一隻手突然無法動彈,只要去移動他的手臂或是觸碰就會瘋狂哭鬧,手臂緊緊靠著身體,前臂彎曲內翻,有時會扶著他的手腕來支撐手臂和手肘。

保母肘的治療,通常採用簡單復位術就能在短時間內讓孩子脫離疼痛。

不過必須先排除其他的問題,例如上肢骨折、骨髓炎、蜂窩性組織炎、或腫瘤,若是手臂有明顯外傷、紅腫、或硬塊等異常症狀,則需要考慮其他疾病。

  (圖片經作者同意後分享)只要診斷正確,有80~90%的機率可以利用簡單的復位術成功復位,讓小朋友重拾歡笑。

但是保母肘復位後還是有復發的可能,家長應避免再突然用力拉扯小朋友的手臂,並告戒不要過度用力揮動手臂,以免造成復發。

復位術其實很簡單,但是不建議爸爸媽媽自己來,還是交由專業的比較好喔。
