發熱伴血小板減少綜合症（SevereFeverwithThrombocytopeniaSyndrome,SFTS），是一種新興急性傳染病，於2011年首次由中國大陸報導，自2009年開始於當地流行的不明原因發燒性疾病，之後經實驗室檢驗證實是由屬於白纖病毒科（Phenuivirudae）的新病毒「發熱伴血小板減少綜合症病毒(SevereFeverwithThrombocytopeniaSyndromevirus,SFTSV)感染導致。

SFTS主要是經由蜱蟲叮咬感染，患者發病後第一週多數有發燒、血小板及白血球減少等特徵，亦可能有噁心、嘔吐、腹瀉、頭痛、肌肉痛、淋巴腫大等症狀，並會有出血傾向；發病後第二週可能導致肝臟、腎臟等多重器官衰竭或瀰漫性血管內凝血異常，第三週多數患者走向復原病程，少數重症患者則可能死亡，致死率約5~15%。

目前除中國大陸外，南韓及日本亦有確定病例，且中國大陸及南韓均曾報導醫護人員於照顧病患時，因未採行正確的防護措施及未穿著/配戴適當防護裝備，直接接觸急性期或死亡病患之血液、體液或呼吸道飛沫顆粒等而導致感染的事件。

此外，從中國大陸、日本、南韓等流行病學資料顯示，罹病者多為從事農作工作或年老族群。

目前我國將發熱伴血小板減少綜合症列為第四類傳染病，如符合通報條件之個案者，應於24小時內通報，並及早診斷及治療。
